With our exercise programme, Darren knew exactly how to encourage me, push me, entertain me, distract me. He helped me understand the importance of correct form – once you’ve got this right, it never leaves you. My programme was devised to allow me to progress to more and more developed exercises and I am amazed now at what I can lift, push or press! Darren was always positive and cheerful, and gave me confidence. He knows his stuff, and when I couldn’t manage something, would provide a variation that allowed me to build up to the full exercise. And yes, I did see results, and so did my friends – within a month I had visibly lost weight, gained definition was eating more healthily, felt more energetic and looked better. Everyone commented! I stayed with him until he went freelance. I am still going to the gym three to four times a week. I would wholeheartedly recommend Darren as a trainer, without reservation.
